Psychiatric Services
Intake/Psychiatric Evaluation
An intake appointment usually lasts 60-90 minutes. This is when we will discuss what problems or challenges you are facing, what you have done or tried in the past to cope with these issues. We will also discuss social, physical, and family issues that could affect the course of your challenges. After that, we may talk about potential treatment plans, which could include medication, therapy, nutrition, vitamins, exercise, environmental factors, etc. This is essentially an information-gathering, plan-making appointment. The charge for this appointment is $275 if not covered by insurance.
Follow-up/medication management appointments
These appointments usually are scheduled for 30-45 minutes. We will discuss how the treatment plan is working and make adjustments as necessary. These are usually scheduled monthly, but can be as frequent as weekly or as infrequently as every 3 months, depending on various factors. The charge for this appointment is $135 if not covered by insurance.

Insurance: I accept Cigna, Aetna, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I have applied for United Healthcare, but they are not credentialling new providers currently, so we will update this as more information becomes available. We use Headway.co to process insurance claims, so you will need to utilize their website prior to your first appointment to get all of the information entered. If you do not have insurance, or have an insurance that I don't accept such as Baylor Scott & White, you will simply pay my office directly (through a credit card). I can provide a superbill for reimbursement if needed.
Payments
I accept all major credit cards as well as paypal and venmo. Please feel free to discuss these options with us at intake.
